Is Zotac legit? – any actual feedback?
Been seeing a lot of zotac lately. Haven’t really heard of them much. What r people’s thoughts on zotac??
My Zotac GTX 970 has been going strong for nearly four years now.
My Zotac GTX 760 still runs with no issues after 5 years.
And its a blower design crammed into HTPC case – so it gets very hot.
I’ve had 2 Zotac cards with no issues. I believe they have double lifetime warranty transferable to 2nd buyer.
No monster Hunter
Zotac is the cheapest pos dont buy it. They are slow af too
I’d consider this if it were EVGA.
I’ve had two Zotac, no problem.
But I’m running 3440×1440 and need a 1080! 1070ti is almost a sidestep from my 1070.
My Zotac 970 still going strong. I’ve owned the cheapest (Powercolor, Zotac, HIS) to the more expensive (MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte), and I’ve experienced no difference when running at stock.
I’m my experience you’re paying for better overvolt/OC from the brand names, but to me it’s not worth the premium price. I’d rather get the next tier card and run it at stock then pay more for a lower tier and push it at high temps. But to each his own, I know that part of the fun is pushing the components.

1440p res, ultra settings, avg real world frame rates:
* Rise of the Tomb Raider: 85 fps
* Doom 2016: 144 fps (much higher actually, I had to lock the fps at 144)
* Killing Floor 2: 90 to 144 fps
* Dying Light: 68 to 100 fps
* Pillars 2 Deadfire: 75 to 105 fps
* Watch Dogs 2: 70 to 105 fps
* The Witcher 3: 65 to 95 fps
* Hitman 2016: 65 to 100 fps
intel i5-7600K, 16 GB DDR4 3000.
Card ran cooler than previous reviews lead me to believe, at around 31c idle, and the highest I’ve seen it go was 71c in Rise of the Tomb Raider. The fans are nearly inaudible.
