This one lasted 6 months. As is the case with most items in the modern age, there is always one piece that is the weak link. One small piece of plastic breaks and the whole thing won’t work. This is the second soda stream we’ve purchased in two years. We love soda water, and go through a big canister every couple of weeks and it looks like we’ll have to buy another dispenser. I suppose we ought to shell out more money for the more expensive dispenser in the hope that they don’t have a plastic doodad that will break and render the whole machine inoperable.

[Deal Review]:

I bought this for 27 bucks a couple weeks ago

Good deal, I have the conversion hose and a 20lb tank, so these are good for a backup.

Hi, do you have a link to the hose and tank we can try? Thanks

I’m going with the paintball tank since the larger tanks need to be tested every 5 years which costs -. Bigger tank is also an eyesore if you don’t have a place to hide them. You can buy the 24oz paintball tank at that price. Sporting stores refill them.

The newer sodastream models can only accept 12oz tank so the jet is probably one of the best one that accepts 24oz tanks.

The adapter is – on Amazon or Ebay. You don’t need the hose for this model. It’ll fit fine

Got 2 thanx op!

Thanks!

Fwiw, this model feels flimsy compared to other sodastreams I’ve owned. I paid around AR a few years ago and it seemed worth no more than that amount

Thank you

Just used my target 20% off to get a machine plus extra co2, don’t know if I would use it often enough to get a big tank, with a one year old and a 2 year old running around the tank doesn’t seem safe in the house

20 pound tank is important!

So how much CO2 is in the 24 oz tank compared to the standard small sodastream refills?

And the 24 oz tank will fit into this housing with just an adapter? Like, I can buy this item, the 24oz tank, and the NISPIRA adapter (in the lifehacker article) and be ready to go?

Soda stream 60 litter is 14.5 oz.

24 oz tank is probably around 110 litters. Dicks sporting good refills 24 oz for 5$ and 5th refill is free.

yes. just the tank and adapter is all you need. including co2

How did you get 20% off?
