Hitachi the perfect stuff

Same price at

is this good for crown molding work

Yes works great for crown molding!
Thanks got one from amazon
Yes this is I think best for moldings and trim. For baseboards I prefer 16GA one for better hold but 18GA makes smaller holes and combined with liquid nails adhesive or similar can be used on most trim work for sure.

Bought this last time it went on sale after having a hell of a time with jams on a Harbor Freight brad nailer. This one works perfectly.

I started to get this one but found a nice wen brad nailer on amazon for 26.77

Any good finds on a finish nailer?

You can buy a refurbished one on Amazon for .

I see that, very interesting… I wonder if there is any warranty
Its from cpo outlets, 1 year warranty, grade c, I ordered mine a month or two ago, came in case w minimal scratches. Looks pretty dam good.
Why would you ever want to use liquid nails or any adhesive on molding? If you ever have to pull it off, you’ll likely be pulling off sheet rock as well!

  • Selective Actuation allows the user to select bump fire or contact fire modes with the simple flip of a switch
  • At only 2.2 lbs, this finish nailer is lightweight & well-balanced making it easy to use all day long
  • Elastomer grip adds comfort and prevents slippage
  • Tool-less, easy to clear nose for quick and simple nail extraction should a nail jam during use
  • Depth of drive dial allows the user to easily adjust the drive depth for a professional finish

I purchased this product based on price more than anything. I placed shoe mold thorough out my 1700 sq ft house. I was nervous based on some of the reviews but this product did exactly as it was suppose too. I can’t put it down. I have completed multiple jobs (household chores, arts and crafts, etc) and am completely satisfied. No issues with angles or anything. With the right settings, it counter sinks perfectly. The ability to use different nail/brad sizes is also a huge plus.
