I just got it and the colors are very nice! For 50 of them for only $6 is probably the best deal (for this quality) I have found. The day before I saw these, I went to a local art store (Jerry’s Artarama) and oil pastels were too expensive. I am also a beginner so I wasn’t going to spend $50 on only a 25 set. So I am super happy I found these :]]] Just look at some of the colors!

[Deal Review]:

At .99, this is a no brainer if you’re into this stuff. My daughters would love another set of pastels.

These finally shipped out today @ .00. Wondering how much I care about a dollar. I’m here though. Do they price adjust? (Do you ever feel petty for being frugal? Talk me down off this ledge!)

Thank you!

If you ordered it off Amazon they’ll give you the credit easy. Just go on live chat with your order number.

Can this be used for adult coloring books?

I think Amazon is way better than Walmart in that aspect. A simple chat/call can go a long way.

Similarly, Amazon let’s you know ahead that item is currently not in stock and the est. future arrival date; whereas Walmart just cancels the order without a clue.
Walmart’s super easy to do a price match. They have a chat too.

Does this get messy / stain?

Okey dokey. Thank you.
I haven’t used these specifically, but I have used oil pastels. They’re messy and by design. Pastels are awesome because of their blendable quality, but that quality means it gets everywhere. That said, if you’re asking because you want to use this to color then keep a piece of art, you can buy setting spray (fixatives) at your local art supply shop that will work somewhat well (oil pastels just aren’t meant to really be fixed). You could also just frame it behind glass without the fixative, which may deepen the colors and ruin your work.
It does but I find the customer service of Amazon way better than Walmart. It’s not just about price match but other things such as orders etc. I shop quite a bit from both the stores.

My orders from Amazon usually never get canceled; if something were to go wrong, the CS will do their best to make it right. Walmart on the other hand have canceled several of my orders for various reasons including one for OOS.
Actually Amazon do not price match anymore. Either you are spending too much or it was accidentally (I’m about ).

Seems a great deal. Have to keep an eye on this in case I would miss out lol.
